ENTOMOTROPICA (until December 2000, Boletín de Entomología Venezolana, http://www.redpav-fpolar.info.ve/entomol) has been a leading entomological journal in Latin America since it’s foundation in 1941. Ever since we have struggled to offer a high quality journal, and now we are broadening our scope and changing our Journal name to ENTOMOTROPICA in our aim to serve the large community of entomologists and alike, working in tropical and Iberian entomology, in need of a modern journal that meets their expectations for the new millennium. ENTOMOTROPICA will appear thrice a year (April, August & December) and will publish papers dealing with all aspects of entomology within our scope. Access to our electronic version will continue to be free with the added bonus of both HTML and PDF formats (full text) for all on-line articles. Original papers on tropical and Iberian entomological fauna dealing with all its different aspects will be considered for publication following a wide concept of Entomology that includes Parainsecta (Collembola, etc.), but also arachnids and myriapods. Manuscripts in English, Spanish and Portuguese will be considered. All papers will be reviewed by at least 3 specialists in the area. ENTOMOTROPICA will publish: · Original research articles. · Invited papers. · Short Communications. · Essays. · Book reviews. · Necrological notes. |
