Biomasa y actividad microbiana de suelos de nidos de Acromyrmex rugosus (Formicidae: Hymenoptera) en la reserva campesina La Montaña, Atlántico, Colombia
Resumen
Se evaluó la biomasa y actividad microbiana de suelos de las estructuras biogénicas de Acromyrmex rugosus en la Reserva Campesina La Montaña (RCM), Atlántico, Colombia; mediante los métodos de Fumigación-Extracción y tasa de respiración basal, respectivamente. De igual manera, se determinaron parámetros físicos (textura, temperatura del suelo y ambiente, humedad del suelo y ambiente y pH) y químicos (bases intercambiables: K+, Ca+2, Mg+2). Se determinó que no existen diferencias significativas (p> 0,05) entre la biomasa y actividad microbiana de los nidos al compararlos con los suelos circundantes. Se atribuye al bajo tiempo de establecimiento de los nidos, tal como se evidenció en los análisis de textura del suelo, y al realizar el estudio en una época específica del año.
